(GLUTEN FREE - DAIRY FREE - MEATLESS)

​INGREDIENTS:

ORGANIC SPROUTED TOFU (2 PACKS - X NUMBER OF OUNCES)

For the batter (liquid):

 1/2  CUP UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK
1/2 CUP GROUND ALMONDS
                      4 PINCHES OF VEGAN CHICKEN-LESS SEASONING

For the "Breadcrumbs":
1 1/2 CUPS ALMONDS, GROUND INTO FLOUR
(USE YOUR BLENDER...TOSS THE ALMONDS IN AND PUREE THEM)
        3 1/2 TABLESPOONS CHICKEN-LESS SEASONING
1/2 CUP TAPIOCA STARCH
1/3 CUP NUTRITIONAL YEAST 

 

For the TOFU to have the texture of Chicken:
BE SURE TO DO THIS STEP:
STRAIN THE TOFU USING A STANDARD STRAINER ?
PUT TOFU IN FREEZER FOR 30 MINUTES ?
LET THAW AND PRESS  BETWEEN PLATES AND CAST IRON 
PAN WITH TOWEL AROUND TOFU

FREEZE AGAIN FOR 30 MINUTES AND THAW AND PRESS AGAIN.
THEN, RIP INTO NUGGET SIZE PIECES OR CUT INTO PATTIES.

 

Mix the batter (liquid):

NOW, MIX THE ALMOND MILK AND SEASONING.
ADD ALMOND FLOUR AND LET SIT.

 

Mix the "Breadcrumbs":

BLEND ALMONDS, ADD SEASONING, NUTRITIONAL  YEAST AND STARCH.

PUT IN BOWL.

LAST STEP....

DIP NUGGETS INTO BATTER, THEN PRESS/DIP  INTO "BREADCRUMBS" 

BAKE AT 425 DEGREES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. FLIP AND BAKE OTHER SIDE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
